SUMTER COUNTY MIDDLE SCHOOL LEADS SCHOOL DISTRICT WITH 155 PERFECT ATTENDANCE STUDENTS
School attendance continues to be a top priority in Sumter County Schools. Today, in his March 2012 perfectly attendance report to school principals, Coach Jimmy Green, Attendance Officer for Sumter County Schools, released good news and the school breakdown of students with perfect attendance for the year.

Student Perfect Attendance in Sumter County Schools, for the year, has reached an all-time high. Since the beginning of the year, Sumter County Middle School leads the listing with 155 students. Sumter County Elementary has 52 perfect attendance students, Sumter Primary has 48 students, Sarah Cobb has 100 students, Staley Middle has 99 perfect attendance students, Americus Sumter County South reports 18 students, Cherokee has 63 students, Americus Sumter North reports 7 students with perfect attendance. "Indeed, I am proud of our students for their perfect attendance numbers at Sumter County Middle School. I am sure this student excellence will cause more students to attain this status in the coming school year," said Principal Kimothy Hadley.

For March, 2012, Sarah Cobb Elementary led the monthly report with 98% perfect attendance. Staley Middle and Sumter County Middle reported 97% perfect attendance. Cherokee Elementary, Sumter County Elementary, Sumter County Primary and Americus-Sumter South Campus had 96% attendance and Americus-Sumter High North Campus reported a 95% attendance for March.
