AMERICUS-SUMTER HIGH CONCERT CHOIR PERFORMS AT RYLANDER THEATER
On November 29, the Historic Rylander Theater was the site for the 2011 Holiday Performance of the Americus-Sumter High Concert Choir.
Over 235 parents and supporters enjoyed a program of 13 selections by 64 members of the choir. The program began with the Star-Spangled Banner by the Advance Choral Ensemble. Following were student solos, the Men's Ensemble and the full concert choir. The final selection of the evening was a Christmas Carol Sing-A-Long by the Concert Choir and audience.

On Saturday, December 3, The Americus High School Singers will have their Fall Showcase. Show times are 3:00 and 7:00 p.m. Again at the Rylander, the Singers will share some of their contest-winning selections. Tickets can be obtained at The Rylander box office, at http://www.rylandertheater.org or by email contact to choral music director, Bradley Bunce at bbunce@sumterschools.org.

"We invite citizens to celebrate the holiday season with our students and their selections," said Bunce.
