AMERICUS-SUMTER HIGH NORTH CAMPUS ACHIEVES TOTAL COMPLIANCE WITH ENERGY EDUCATION The most recent "Cost Avoidance" saving numbers with Energy Education reveals exciting information! Since December 2008, administrators, teachers, staff and students of Sumter County Schools have achieved a "Cost Avoidance" savings of over $818,530, or 27.86%. "This partnership in cost avoidance savings is equivalent to about 19.8 teacher jobs in Sumter County Schools," said Energy Education Manager, Mulkey McMichael. Americus-Sumter High North Campus joins Sarah Cobb Elementary in becoming the first totally compliant schools in the eight-school district. "North campus is a part of great things.
