SUMTER COUNTY ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS SOLICITS DRESS CODE APPAREL
STUDENTS SORT DRESS CODE APPAREL AT SC ELEMENTARY
SUMTER COUNTY ELEMENTARY SOLICITS DRESS CODE APPAREL FOR CLOTHES CLOSET On the third day of school, students received request sheets for parents that solicit new or clean, slightly used components of the Uniform Dress Code for Sumter County Schools. "Since the dress code is unchanged for the current school year, we are asking parents to send garments, shoes, and specifically belts, for our clothes closet," said Principal Sharron Marcus. Sumter County Schools report improved adoption of the three-year old dress code. "We are trying to model our students at Sumter County Elementary to present themselves professionally and be ready for success in life," continued Mrs. Marcus.
If you have clothes for the Clothes Closet at Sumter Elementary, please contact the school at 229-924-7835 or Mrs. Lezley Anderson, Assistant Principal, at firstname.lastname@example.org. Delivery to the school on Bumphead Road will provide time for a visit to the active school.
Here, new school counselor, Mrs. Connie Downs, directs 5th grade students from Mrs. Shanekia Williams' class as they empty several bags of clean, new and slightly used dress code components for their Clothes Closet at Sumter County Elementary School.
With Mrs. Downs are students Ardianna Martinez, India Hugley, Keshonna Solomon, Kaelyn King, Dakota Harnage, Joshua Lusane and Kearsten Hudson.
