STUDENTS ENJOY LIFE SCIENCE LEARNING AT SUMTER COUNTY MIDDLE SCHOOL Seventh graders in Mrs. Anita Solomon's "LIfe Science Class" learn hands-on procedures about animal origin and their biological makeup. After students review about the safety of dissection, students were directed for the proper technique for the procedure. With gloved hands, students received a case with the necessary tools for correctly performing the learning lesson. Lastly, a protected tray with the preserved frog was placed on each table. "These kids are eager to learn more about the frog and the dissection procedure. It is not 'fun' in my estimation but it is a great life science learning standard," said Mrs. Solomon.
