In addition to becoming a Teacher Appreciation Partner, Mr. Tyson was visited to seek support for the first meeting of Dr. Roy Brooks' student cabinet. Dr. Brooks has always presented gifts to the 29 students on his youth cabinet. For their first meeting, Mr. Tyson presented a check to Dr. Brooks to be divided and give $10 cash to each student on the cabinet. "I believe in education and I want to help students realize that success is available for those students who will strive to be the best they can be. It was my dream to do what I am now doing. Each day in today's business world is filled with new challenges. I never postpone the problems but address them as they occur. Dr. Brooks' cabinet is a good first way to share constructive ideas and build relationships," said Mr. Tyson.
In addition to the generous gift to the Student Cabinet, plans are underway for student visits to Titanic Customs at 102 Highway 19 North. "I would like for students to see first-hand what hard work and determination can do," said Tyson.
